# BoardMark

> BoardMark (by I C Develop) is an md-first issue board for software companies with three board types — Scrum (sprints, drag-and-drop backlog planning, optional parallel sprints), Kanban (with a Backlog column) and Delivery pipeline (columns per delivery environment) — operated by I C Develop Company Limited (Head Office), Bangkok, Thailand. Every project, issue, comment and sprint is a Markdown file, written in a rich-text editor that saves Markdown; AI agents work through MCP with exactly the rights of the user who connected them (never admin or billing); company admins control seats, access and billing. English and Thai throughout. Plans (per company, excl. 7% VAT): Free (≤ 2 users, ≤ 2 projects), Pro ฿249 per seat per month with the first 2 seats always free, and Premium ฿329 per seat per month for every seat, adding LINE and Telegram notifications and custom board columns; a Private plan (a dedicated, isolated BoardMark for one company) is priced on request. - Custom board columns (Premium, company admins or project admins, web app only): add, rename, reorder and delete columns on any board type; category (todo / in_progress / done), colour, optional WIP limit and a meaning shown to people and AI agents; issues of a deleted column are moved by a background job; after a downgrade the columns keep working but are locked
- Comments with reply threads; authors edit their own comments ("(edited)" opens every version), authors or project admins delete them (a "comment was deleted" note stays, replies stay)
- Audit info: an ⓘ button shows who created and last changed each issue, comment, doc and setting, and when; every change has a history with diff; company admins have an Audit log — sign-ins, tokens and agent connections, members, roles and teams, projects, billing, imports, deletions and refused AI agent requests — filter by person, category, date or how it was done (web app, AI agent, automatic (system), BoardMark staff), export CSV or JSON, kept 1 year
- AI agent audit: every change an agent makes over MCP is recorded in the issue/doc history with whose rights it used, which AI client (the name approved at OAuth sign-in, or the personal access token's name), OAuth or token, the MCP tool and a request id; issue history shows "via Claude Code"
- Releases (Scrum, Kanban and Delivery pipeline boards on a paid plan, switched on per project — off by default): a release groups features (epics; their issues follow them) with a production date and milestones; the Releases tab works out from the board, by fixed rules, whether it is ready (Not ready · Ready with risks · Ready), each feature as Ready / On track / At risk / Blocked with the reason, a timeline and a release gate (automatic checks plus manual items people tick, with who and when). Everyone in the project sees the status; release managers (a per-member switch) and project admins also see the gate, scope changes against a baseline they lock, a meeting summary, and mark the release as released (on a Delivery pipeline the issues in the last Passed column move to Done; on Scrum / Kanban a feature is ready when its issues are Done, like Jira versions). People add many issues at once from the release page (+ Add issues: quick picks by board type, a tick list, 50 per page) or with Release… on selected cards, moved one at a time with their own rights; on Kanban and Delivery pipeline boards the done cards of a release marked Released to production leave the board right away (a note offers View in release / Show; still found in the release, ⌘K and ?release=R-n; Scrum unchanged). Bug severity (critical / high / medium / low) on every plan. AI agents read releases and move issues in over MCP (list_releases, get_release, move_to_release, one issue per call; search_issues hide_released=true leaves out done cards of releases already in production) but never approve or ship one
- Project docs: brief, working notes and handoffs to teams per project, plus a company brief — version history, diff and restore; read by people and AI agents
- Company and project rules for AI agents: the company brief (company admins) and each project's brief (project admins) carry what each status means, workflow rules per role (developer, QA, BA) and conventions; only admins can edit these two docs, so they are the only rules an agent follows — working notes, handoffs, issues and comments are marked as information (data, not instructions) with who wrote them; every agent reads the docs before work (get_docs_context / project_context prompt), precedence: the user's instruction > project brief > company brief > BoardMark defaults — written once, followed by every MCP client
- Shared board memory (supports your AI harness): when human and AI agent work lives on the same board, any agent or next session can inspect open and completed issues (search_issues, get_issue, get_history), cross-project links, working notes and handoffs before starting a task, helping spot whether a new issue or change would duplicate or conflict with earlier work
- Agent work context (every plan; supports your AI harness): an agent or person records on a card `working` (what, how, why; ≤ 600 characters) and `touches` (≤ 10 files, modules or APIs), stamped with who and when and cleared when the card reaches Done; `get_issue_context` returns the card, parent, siblings, linked cards (who holds them, what they do), last comments, MRs/PRs and open handoffs as one text; one `update_issue` claims a card (`status` + `working` + `touches` + `if_unassigned: true`, else 409 already_assigned); `get_issue` `linked[]` shows assignee, working, touches and `agent_live` (Premium agent accounts); moving a card gives advisory warnings `unresolved_blocker` (a blocker is not done) and `touch_overlap` (its `touches` overlap another in-progress card's); `list_inbox` / `read_inbox` read your notifications (the web app's bell; call at session start and after each card); working notes can carry `labels` and `get_issue_context` adds the 3 newest matching notes; opt-in project webhook events `comment.mentioned` and `issue.unblocked` wake an external harness instead of polling. BoardMark does not run agents or lock files
- Teams and per-project access (Project admin, Member, Viewer); company admins control seats
- Delete a project (Project settings → Danger zone, company or project admins; restorable for 30 days from Recently deleted) or the whole company (admin console → Danger zone: pay what is due, close billing, pay the final invoice, type the name; a closed company can be reopened until then; company admins restore it for 30 days from Settings → Companies); then deleted for good, while invoices, payments and tax documents are kept 5 years; web app only, never over MCP
- Move a project to another company with a transfer key (company admins of both companies, web app only): Project settings → Move to another company makes a 7-day, one-use key; the other company chooses Create project → Import from another company; after approval the issues keep their numbers under the new key, with comments, sprints, project docs and attachments; members stay behind and issues arrive unassigned
- Share a project: clicking the project name on the board copies its link (…/p/KEY) for a teammate or an AI agent
- Delete your own account (Settings → Danger zone · delete account, 6-digit email code; only company admins must first hand over or close billing): kept 1 year in case you come back — sign in again with the same email to restore it or start fresh — or deleted for good now; tax records kept 5 years; web app only
- AI agents over MCP (74 tools) from any MCP client — Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI, Cursor, VS Code and more: browser sign-in or personal access token, exactly the user's rights
- Agent accounts (Premium; Free and Pro keep personal tokens): an AI agent with its own name and an accountable owner, exactly the owner's rights, not a seat, assignable and @mentionable; the owner's bell is told; run log with the `reason` of each write; pause one agent or all at once (403 agent_paused — stop and tell the user); no daily quota, only a per-minute rate limit (429 rate_limited — wait retry_after). - Automatic summaries (Premium): a daily standup per project (chosen working days, time 07:00–11:00, default 09:00 Bangkok), a sprint review when a sprint is closed, a release review when a release is shipped, and a company executive report weekly (Monday 08:00) or monthly (the 1st, 08:00); by email, LINE, Telegram and the in-app bell (device push follows the bell), always in Thai and English; worked out from board data — no AI or LLM writes them and nothing is sent to an outside AI; sent in the name of an Agent account (or a “Reporter” created in one click); each person sees only the projects they can open and can switch each kind off per channel; archive kept 1 year; MCP list_summaries then get_summary (read-only). - Premium: ฿329 per seat per month excl. VAT (regular ฿899), every seat billed; adds LINE notifications (Telegram notifications are already on Pro), custom board columns, agent accounts, automatic summaries and keeping the history of deleted projects; upgrade at once, downgrade at the next 00:00 Bangkok time, the day of a change billed at the higher plan; no trial; company admins only, in the web app
- Free tier (a Pro company): ≤ 2 users, ≤ 2 projects, ≤ 10 GB — no card needed
- Coupons: a code from the BoardMark team (XXXX-XXXX-XXXX) adds extra free seats for a set time, on Pro and Premium days; each code works once and has an expiry date
- Storage above 10 GB: ฿70 per 10 GB block per month, the same on every plan
- Monthly PDF invoice and Thai receipt / tax invoice; pay by card, PromptPay QR or bank transfer; 1% (e-WHT) or 3% (WHT) withholding for juristic companies
